Q: What is SSR's edge against the competition?
A: Our head carpenter has worked with wood professionally for over 25 years on larger residential housing projects. Coupling his unique expertise with the fact that he's been a San Diego local and avid surfer for over half a century, it's no wonder our customer satisfaction is highest in the game. Our rackz aren't made cheap and flimsy like Amazon where they will break down in under a year. They are made to last and maintain their incredible aesthetic design for years. In this sense, they truly are the best deals on the market.
Q: Why are vertical freestanding rackz better than horizontal?
A: First, our vertical rackz don't require ANY drilling into your walls. This means you can move them around as needed to fit your space (all are less than 50 lbs). In other words, you can clean up the mess without creating a bigger one. Second, vertical rackz save 60% more wall space in your garage. All of our rackz are under 5ft in length allowing you to save and make the most of your room. Vertical is the way to go!
Q: Are SSR rackz water proof?
A: Although SSR seals each rack with a water resistant semi gloss, this is a product made out of 100% real wood which is NOT water proof. Our recommendation is to keep your rack inside, after all we designed them to have a tasteful appeal. However, if you do opt to keep it outside, we suggest putting it under an awning where it will be protected from the elements. If you live in an area that gets excessive rain, we strongly advise leaving it indoors.
Q: How long will it take me to receive my rack?
A: Our rackz are built to order and take about two weeks to construct, stain and dry. Once complete, they will be shipped within1-7 business days. Total lead time from checkout to your doorstep is an estimated 2-3 weeks (this is approximate and can be slightly shorter or longer based on the complexity of your order, location and current volume). Q: How long do your rackz take to assemble?
A: We have engineered our rackz to be assembled easily in no longer than 30 minutes. Most can be done in just 3 simple steps. Each product is also put together and taken apart prior to being shipped. We include easy to read directions, extra screws and even an electric screwdriver (the only tool you'll need) to put it together. NOTE: although assemblage can be done by one person we recommend two people so that one can hold a piece steady while the other screws.
Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: Yes. Most of our discounts are automatically applied, as seen in our reasonably priced products, but we are always open to sweetening the deal.
